Flashback’s Offspring Score Big

New Diamond B Farm stallion Flashback has experienced a profitable fall season, with six of his offspring posting impressive efforts in both maiden races, stakes races, and graded stakes contests.

Flashback’s juvenile daughter Boujie Girl has won or placed in three stakes races the past four months. Out of the Closing Argument mare Super Girlie, the filly launched her career with a 3 ½-length victory in a five-furlong maiden event at Del Mar. She promptly stepped up in company with third-place finishes in the G2 Sorrento Stakes and G1 Del Mar Debutante Stakes.

Trained by Peter Miller for Rockingham Ranch and David Bernsen, Boujie Girl most recently ran third in the Nov. 12 Desi Arnaz Stakes at Del Mar. She currently has earnings of $105,600.

Flashback’s juvenile son Tripwire has also had a strong season, with a third in the G3 Grey Stakes at Woodbine Oct. 21. Out of the Milwaukee Brew mare Mazucambera, he is trained by Mike Maker for Ken and Sarah Ramsey.

Flashback has also had four other offspring win maiden events this season, including Forever Changed, who edged clear to an impressive 3 ¾-length victory in the first race at Aqueduct on Nov. 8. She completed the six-furlong contest in 1:00.48. Out of the Eltish mare Elle Tish Slew, Forever Changed is trained by Charton Baker for Happy Face Racing Stable.

Flashback, a G1-placed runner and G2 winner, is currently the leading first crop general sire by graded stakes horses. He will stand for $3,500 in 2019.
